Family Fire Day and Gardening: This Weekend in Minnetonka

The Minnetonka Fire Department’s “What If?” public educators invite you to Family Fire Day Saturday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Minnetonka Fire Station. Enjoy a tour of the fire station and see a firefighter dressed in full fire gear. The 20-foot inflatable slide will be ready for fun, and Sparky the fire safety dog will be on hand for photos. The program is free.

Minnetonka city offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day has annually been a very busy day at the Williston Fitness Center. To prepare for traffic, a courtesy shuttle service will be available January 20 from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 4–8 p.m., running between the Minnetonka Community Center, 14600 Minnetonka Boulevard, and Williston. Arboretum programs

Grow Lights on Saturday at 10 a.m.

It's in the bag! Pop-up gardens at 1 p.m.
