Minnetonka Gymnasts Prep for Big Meet on Saturday

The competitive invite, known as 'WWI,' involves four teams from the same section.

A big gymnastics meet this Saturday at Minnetonka High School will serve as a preview for the next weekend's battle for a spot at the state tournament.

The Winter Wonderland Invite (WWI) takes place Saturday, Feb. 9. This is the fifth annual WWI, with five teams competing: Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Wayzata, Minneapolis Southwest and Perham. The meet starts at 11:45 a.m. in the East Gym.

This meet is going to be an important one, as it is the last meet before the section tournament and four of the five teams involved are in the same section.
