TwinWest Foundation Awards $8,500 to Minnetonka Students

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce Foundation will honor its 2012 scholarship award recipients on Thursday.

Thanks to the generosity of the business community in the western Twin Cities area, The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce Foundation announced 46 college scholarships totaling $50,500 to graduating high school seniors.

Award winners represent high school seniors from , Benilde-St. Margaret's School, Chesterton Academy, Hopkins High School, Providence Academy, Robbinsdale-Armstrong High School, Robbinsdale-Cooper High School, St. Louis Park High School and Wayzata High School.

TwinWest Foundation Scholarships range from $1,000 to $5,000.

The TwinWest Chamber of Commerce Foundation will honor its 2012 scholarship award recipients along with parents and educators at its annual college scholarship awards reception on Thursday, May 24 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Doubletree Hotel Minneapolis Park Place in St. Louis Park.
