Drink deep...and live forever. A terrifying and passionate new musical based on one of the most frightening novels ever written. It is a thrilling drama of suspense and a Gothic romance of dreamlike temptation from Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel). Set in Europe at the end of the Victorian Age, the production follows Dracula's lust for new blood and a small band of mortal men and women who must face his overwhelming seduction and mesmeric supernatural powers.

The Sound of Music

Holiday Musical, Dec. 9-17

Presented by Minnetonka Theatre

In Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved musical a young woman proves too high-spirited for the religious life and she is dispatched to serve as governess for the seven children of a widowed naval Captain. Her growing rapport with the youngsters, coupled with her generosity of spirit, gradually captures the heart of the stern Captain, and they marry. The family's narrow escape over the mountains to Switzerland on the eve of World War II provides one of the most thrilling and inspirational finales ever presented in the theatre.

Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music

Winter Play, Feb. 17-25

Presented by Minnetonka High School

Eve Wilfong, who lives over the "Nice People Dancing To Good Country Music Bar," is paid a visit by her niece, a novice nun who's been asked to leave her convent. Roy, an honest if simple fellow from the bar downstairs, wants to court Catherine whether she's a nun or not. Eve feels she should give her niece the benefit of her experiences with men before allowing her to venture back into the mad modern country world. What follows in this play by Lee Blessing is not simply comic and well-observed, but romantic and affecting as well.
