Minnetonka Schools Foundation Hosts 'Dream Makers Dinner' to Support Schools

The event in Minneapolis on Feb. 9 includes dinner, auctions and raffles.

Truly a party with a purpose, the Dream Makers Dinner raises funds to support innovative programs, materials and technology that benefit all Minnetonka students.  

The 10th annual Dream Makers Dinner will be Saturday, Feb. 9 at the Depot Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, hosted by the Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation. The event begins at 6 p.m.

Organizers expect 600 supporters of Minnetonka Schools in attendance.

Tickets are $65 until Jan. 31 and $75 thereafter and at the door. Dress code is "downtown casual" (suit and tie not required).  

The 2013 Live Auction is packed with unique experiences and items, including a Napa Valley vacation home, tickets to the "Book of Mormon", the Ellen! Show and the One Direction concert, a summer membership to Excel Boat Club, a luxury home in Montana, a private Twins suite, and back by popular demand, the Tonka Scooter. Click here to see the complete list of Live Auction items.

The silent auction will use convenient E-bidding technology. Attendees can access to the auction catalog will be available midday on Feb. 9.

Dinner provided by top local restaurants at individual chef stations. Other entertainment includes raffle prizes and dessert served during an inspirational program. 

The event will raise money for ground-breaking teacher grant requests as well as longer term initiatives such as The Writing Center at Minnetonka High School.
