Minnetonka High School Sends Several Swimmers to State

The Skippers tied for second place in the Section 6AA meet.

The following information was released by Minnetonka Schools:

The Minnetonka High School boys swimming and diving team had an outstanding regular season as they finished in second place in the Lake Conference and finished second at the State True Team Meet in January. 

The Skippers tied for second place in the Section 6AA meet. Individual qualifiers for state include:

  • Chris Bader (12th Grade - 100 Breaststroke)
  • Dan Bielski (12th Grade - 100 Butterfly & 100 Backstroke)
  • Noah Busch (12th Grade - 100 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke)
  • Ryan Current (10th Grade - 200 Freestyle & 100 Freestyle)
  • Teddy Goodyear (11th Grade - Diving)
  • Bastien Ibri (10th Grade - 200 Individual Medley & 100 Butterfly)
  • Ryan Jessen (11th Grade - 50 Freestyle & 100 Freestyle)
  • Patrick Quarberg (11th Grade - Diving)
  • Trent Youngdahl (12th Grade - 100 Freestyle & 100 Backstroke)

All three relay teams also qualified for the state meet, which will be held at the U of M Aquatics Center Feb. 28 through March 2.
