First Time to State Tourney for Minnetonka Nordic Ski Team
The boys will compete on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Giants Ridge.
The boys Nordic ski team placed first in the Section 5 meet at Theodore Wirth Park on Feb. 9.
The boys team defeated a strong Eden Prairie team to win the team title. Minnetonka won with overall champion Zach Goldberg (12) and runner-up Marcus Speca (12). The team will compete on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Giants Ridge.
This is the boys first state tournament appearance as a team in known history.
