Caucus Online or In Person with Independence Party

Minnetonka residents looking to caucus in person can join the party on Feb. 7 at the Minnetonka Community Center.

The Independence Party of Minnesota announced that it will offer Minnesotans multiple options to caucus on Tuesday, Feb. 7 via either in-person or online participation.

In addition to the more than 40 physical caucuses being convened by IP supporters around the state, the party announced a live, online option for political engagement on caucus night. Minnetonka residents looking to caucus in person can join the party at 7 p.m. at the in the Gray's Bay Room. Third congressional district Independence Party chair Kyle Lewis will convene the caucus.

Participants can also access the live, online caucus from their computer browser or from their smartphone or tablet using a free Cisco WebEx app found in the device’s application store.

Independence Party chair Mark Jenkins will facilitate the live, online caucus. 

“The Independence Party has touted “innovative solutions” to the challenges facing our state government for years,” Jenkins said. “Providing all Minnesotans a greater opportunity to participate in the political process was a challenge that needed an innovative solution."
