Minnetonka Man Charged with First-Degree Manslaughter

A man was found dead due to mixed drug toxicity in a Blue Earth home owned by Hayden Spencer.

A 34-year-old Minnetonka man has been charged with first-degree manslaughter after a drug-related death in Blue Earth.

Hayden Spencer was charged formally in court Dec. 3 from an incident that happened on Jan. 22, when a man was found dead in the Blue Earth residence he owned, according to the Faribault County Register.

When deputies were dispatched to the home, Spencer allegedly met them and brought them to Juan Vasquez, who was dead on an upstairs bed.

The two men and a third friend were drinking and taking Xanax pills provided by Spencer, according to court documents.

An autopsy revealed that the cause of death was probable mixed drug toxicity.
