Thieves Hit Minnetonka Neighborhoods

Officers stopped and identified two suspects the night of the thefts, but did not make any arrests.

A number of car thefts late Sunday night through early Monday morning have a few Minnetonka neighborhoods worried about their safety.  

Captain Scott Boerboom of the Minnetonka Police Department said they don't yet have a total number of thefts. 

A resident of the area said the Sparrow Road area of Minnetonka seems to have been targeted--Byrnwood Lane and Woolman Drive, although there may have been thefts on other streets as well.

Minnetonka Police officers stopped and identified two suspects that night, but did not make any arrests. Other suspects have been identified, and the case is still under investigation. 

Boerboom said juveniles and at least one adult have been identified as suspects.
