New Uses Store: #7 Minnetonka Patch Story of 2012

We're counting down the most popular, inspiring, interesting and tragic stories of the year.

Feeling thrifty? People around the web apparently were in January, making the article 'New Uses' Store Opens Today in Minnetonka the No. 7 most popular this year on Minnetonka Patch.

A new "resale home store" opened Thursday, Jan. 19 in Minnetonka across from Ridgedale Shopping Center, at 13029 Ridgedale Drive. The store is part of a national chain with eight stores planned for the Twin Cities and hundreds planned nationwide.

New Uses calls themselves a brand new take on selling and buying home goods, dealing in items such as furniture, home decor, kitchen goods, small appliances, consumer electronics, entertainment devices, tools, pet supplies and more.

Costomers get cash on the spot for their quality used goods. Consumers can also buy good-condition home merchandise at low prices, often $2 to $10 per item.

All products are clean, safe, working and in good condition and have a seven-day return policy.
