Large Daycare Plans Location in Minnetonka
Primrose School of Minnetonka will have a licensed capacity of 204 children and will operate Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
A new daycare and early childhood education center will soon find its home in Minnetonka.
Yesterday, the city council approved the Primrose School of Minnetonka at 17821 State Highway 7. The daycare facility will occupy vacant space within an existing two-story building with a total size of approximately 17,400 square feet. Currently, Park Dental occupies about 25 percent of the existing building.
Primrose School of Minnetonka will occupy the remaining 13,000 square feet of currently vacant space. The daycare is planning about 6 months to complete an interior remodel and some minor exterior updates. The existing facade will be painted and an entry tower element will be constructed. Five playgrounds, a small garden area and fence will also be constructed outside.
Primrose will have a licensed capacity of 204 children and will operate Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The center anticipates employing a total of 40 people, but a maximum of 25 staff members will be present at any given time.
