Injured In A Crash, Evan Ray Continues To Improve

Family of the Minnetonka High School student wrote, "We see more and more of our Evan every day!"

Life changed for Minnetonka High School student Evan Ray on Feb. 18. On the way to his grandfather’s funeral in Fargo with Judith A. Reid and Sean L. Ray when the family’s car went out of control on the icy roads.

Both Reid and Sean Ray, Evan's father, died in the crash. Evan Ray sustained extensive head injuries and was in a coma for some time.

"Evan is doing great!" Proclaimed a Nov. 10 journal on his CaringBridge page.

Evan's ankle has finally healed. He has been standing, and even walking with assistance.

A teacher from MHS comes to work with him every day, and "It won't be long until he is back at school with his friends!" He did get to visit them for lunch at school one day.

According to the journal entry, Ray is getting out much more– for lunch, to visit friends and even Target runs.

Throughout it all, Ray has kept his high spirits. "We see more and more of our Evan every day!"
