I have accepted the position of Executive Director of the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals and will begin work with that organization in July. I want to thank all of you who took the time to teach me the important values of this school and community over the past 10 years. Your input and support have helped create an incredible high school that truly reflects the values of the community and challenges our students to do their very best on a daily basis.

I am forever thankful for the patience, dedication and commitment you have shown me over the years and I will look back on this experience as a highlight of my professional career.

It is my belief the best days at Minnetonka High School are yet to come.  We have incredible staff developing projects that will meet the changing needs of our students and position MHS for continued success.

The district will post the head principal position immediately and a national search will begin in April.

My work here at MHS is not done.  I look forward to spending the next few months working with staff and students on some of the great things we have yet to accomplish.

Dave Adney
