John Bauer, 29 of Minnetonka, Dies In Tragic Accident

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Nov. 16 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Minnetonka.

John Benedict Bauer, 29, of Minnetonka, passed away from a tragic accident on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, according to his obituary.

Bauer was the fourth of seven children. He went to Immaculate Heart of Mary grade school, Benilde-St. Margaret's and Hopkins High schools and attended the U of M and St. Cloud State University. 

According to his obituary, "He will be missed by the many people he touched with his huge personality, charm, wit and ability to make you laugh."

He is survived by parents, Margaret Weber Bauer and Michael W. Bauer; siblings, Theresa, Mark, Peter, Kathryn and Stephen of Minnetonka. He is preceded in death by his oldest brother, David. The Bauer family owns a gas station and auto repair on Baker Road and Excelsior Blvd. in Minnetonka.

Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Nov. 16 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (13505 Excelsior Blvd. in Minnetonka). Visitation is from 8-10 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.
