Behounek to Play Hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
The Minnetonka grad will play defense at the New York school.
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, announced last week that Minnetonka grad Hannah Behounek will be joining the team for the 2013-14 season.
Behounek played defense on the 2013 state champion Minnetonka High School team. She scored five goals and four assists during the regular season, one goal and two assists during the section playoffs and two goals during the state tournament.
Rensselaer had a 10-22-4 overall record in 2012-13 and finished seventh in the conference.

- Eden Prairie Community Band plays at Music in the Park: The second to the last Music in the Park performances of the season will feature the Eden Prairie Community Band. The performance takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the outdoor amphitheater at the Minnetonka Civic Center Campus.
