Since graduation from the University of Minnesota in 2005 with degrees in Spanish language and fine arts, curiosty has led me to explore the world beyond the Midwest. New York City was my home for a year while I worked in sales and product development for a small Latin American travel company. Further away from home, I held an internship at the newspaper, La Tribuna de Toledo, in a small city in Spain. An epic journey across Asia reconfirmed my love of food having devoured delacacies in the streets from Bangkok to Mumbai. Much of 2010 was spent crisscrossing the country, guiding groups of foreign travelers through surreal places such as the great redwood forests of California and the cobbled streets of New Orlean's French Quarter. Back in Minnesota, I am now happy to direct that curiosity into my writing here on Patch.com.
