Minnetonka Man Charged after Allegedly Threatening to Kill Neighbor
Police say Thomas Patrick Dousette bit his neighbor's neck, strangled her and threatened to kill her.
A Minnetonka man has been charged with threatening to kill his neighbor. Thomas Patrick Dousette, 45, is charged with making terroristic threats, a felony with a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. According to the criminal complaint, a woman called police Aug. 27 and said Dousette, who lives across the hall from her apartment, had assaulted her. The woman said she had been helping Dousette when he attacked her, biting her neck, throwing her to the ground and strangling her. The victim said Dousette told her, “You know, I could kill you.” The victim said she had trouble breathing while Dousette’s hands were around her neck and that he called her a “cow” and more profane names while he was strangling her.
