Police: Suspects Used Stun Gun to Enter Home, Assaulted Two Men
Richard Ellis Hill, of Minnetonka, and Thomas William Ray Stevens, address unknown, each face a first-degree burglary charge following an incident at a Hopkins apartment.
Two men are accused of using a stun gun on a resident to force their way into a Hopkins apartment and then hitting two men on the head with a wrench, according to court records filed Tuesday. Police went to the apartment complex Thursday following a report of an unknown disturbance, Officer Stacy Lakotas wrote in the criminal complaint. There they met an unidentified woman who said two men had assaulted her boyfriend and another man. When they went to the apartment, they found the alleged victims and noted that they both had wounds on their heads. The woman said she had been in the bathroom when she heard a commotion.
