To ensure the safety of motorists and workers, the ramp will remain closed until work is complete.
The ramp from I-494 North to I-394 East in Minnetonka is closed for repair of a water main and upgrades to the storm sewer, both of which are located directly adjacent to the ramp. To ensure the safety of motorists and workers, the ramp will remain closed until work is complete. The city understands this is an inconvenience and every effort will be made to complete these critical repairs as quickly as possible. Motorists may use the remaining ramps to detour around the closure and enter I-394 to Minneapolis. (Take the I-394 West ramp then follow the I-494 South exit ramp. Once on I-494 South, take the I-394 East exit.) For additional information regarding this closure, contact Jim Malone, Minnetonka Utilities Manager, at 952.988.8400.
