Realtor: Market Gains Momentum
Home values slipped a little over five years ago in the Minnetonka area, but currently, the average home is selling for 90 percent of its listing price.
If you're looking to sell your house, it may soon be the time to do it. The real estate market in Minnetonka is gaining momentum compared to the majority of the Twin Cities and national market, according to Adam Fonda, a local real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Burnet. “Median sales are up two percent compared to last year,” Fonda said. “This up-shift is attributed to the exceptional services that Minnetonka provides, such as schools, parks, shops and local companies hiring new workforce.” Companies such as Comcast, who recently announced 450 jobs to be added in Minnetonka, are hiring.
