University's Minnetonka Location Becomes 'Toys for Tots' Site

Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota is an official drop-off site for the Toys for Tots program this holiday season. Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota’s Twin Cities campus and its Oakdale, Apple Valley, Minnetonka and Rochester centers will accept donations of new, unwrapped toys between Nov. 30 and Dec. 19. Headed by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for 65 years, Toys for Tots has provided more than 452 million toys to more than 209 million underprivileged children. Typically, Toys for Tots experiences a shortage of toys for infants and teen-agers, so residents are encouraged to purchase gifts for the ages of 0 to 2 and 15 to 17.
