Goodwill Opens in Minnetonka
It's been less than a month since the new Minnetonka Goodwill location opened. Minnetonka Patch is checking in.
Minnetonka's Goodwill store opened its doors earlier this month in the space previously occupied by Home Valu Interiors on Wayzata Boulevard. And according to Minnesota Goodwill's Director of Marketing, Lisa Ritter, the decision to open this store was the right one. "Opening weekend surpassed any grand openings at our stores so far," she said. "Sales are exceeding our expectations and donations have been plentiful." Such was evident on a recent weekday afternoon when the Minnetonka Goodwill parking lot was nearly full. Exiting shoppers toted matching table lamps and in-line skates amongst armfuls of shopping bags.
