The Minnetonka girls swimming and diving team didn't send a large team to the state swim meet like Lake Conference title contenders Edina and Eden Prairie. Instead, the smaller Skippers team focused on enjoying the experience. "Our expectations are not as high as some teams this year, but we are doing pretty well and having a lot of fun," said senior Katie Friedlander, who competed in two individual and two relay events at the state swimming and diving championships over the weekend at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center in Minneapolis.
