All I need to know about Erik Paulsen is that he voted FOR the Ryan budget repeatedly, and was part of the Republican House that refused to negotiate a reasonable compromise. The last 4 years, he has been part of a PUBLICLY stated goal to deny Obama another term. He represented a PARTY not us. Vote Barnes if you want to see a change in Washington.   more ›

A couple of points. 1) Almost every incumbent President has lost the first debate since they have been televised, the only exception was Bill Clinton. 2) I remember in 2008 watching folks talk about how Obama lost debates to Hillary Clinton and how he lost debates to John McCain and yet he was the guy who took the oath of office at the end.
