E.D.U.C.A.T.E.D. competed again 78 other teams.
Hopkins High School’s state champion Destination ImagiNation team, E.D.U.C.A.T.E.D., came away with third place at last week’s Global Finals in Knoxville, TN. Ian Anderson, Graham Giesting, Rachel Gorlin, Rebecca Gorlin and Natalie Polinsky competed against 78 other secondary level teams in their challenge, Coming Attractions, as well as completing an Instant Challenge. They met teams from Brazil, Canada, China, Guatemala, Mexico, Norway, Poland, South Korea, and Turkey— and traded pins with these teams and with many from the other 49 states. Hopkins’ state champion team, E.D.U.C.A.T.E.D., will participate in the ceremonies, which begin at 6:30 p.m. today.
E.D.U.C.A.T.E.D.—Hopkins High School's state champion Destination ImagiNation team—is just hours away from the beginning of Global Finals in Knoxville, TN. Although the competition takes place far from home, residents can show their support by watching the proceedings online. Destination ImagiNation will stream the opening ceremony live today starting at 6:30 p.m. The closing ceremonies will be streamed live Saturday at the same time. Click here to watch the live feed. The state champion Hopkins High School team is headed to Knoxville, TN, later this month.
Hopkins’ state champion Destination ImagiNation team needs your help getting to Global Finals in Knoxville, TN. E.D.U.C.A.T.E.D.—made up of Hopkins High School 11th graders Ian Anderson, Graham Giesting, Rachel Gorlin, Rebecca Gorlin and Natalie Polinsky—will host a fundraising car wash from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The car wash will take place at the northeast corner of Highway 7 and Hopkins Crossroads—in the parking lot of MGM Liquor, Caribou Coffee and Walgreens.
