Residents only have a few more days to sign up to volunteer at this year’s Community Days of Service. Community Days of Service, which takes place May 19 and 20, is an annual event organized and led by local faith communities in Minnetonka, Hopkins and St. Louis Park to help area schools, city parks and charitable community organizations. The event, now in its fourth year, attracted more than 600 people from 32 different cities last year. For 2012, organizers aim to engage more than 800 volunteers. Area faith communities are looking for 700 volunteers to join-in this year's Community Days of Service event, scheduled to take place tomorrow and Sunday. Community Days of Service is an annual event, organized and led by local faith communities, to help area schools, city parks and charitable community organizations in Minnetonka, Hopkins and St. Louis Park.
