Will A Local Teen Win Jeopardy?

The episodes featuring the teens begin airing Jan. 30 with a local girl and boy competing.

Have you ever wanted to be a contestant on Jeopardy!? A couple of local teens already have–while in high school. Lila Anderson, 17, a resident of Minnetonka who attends Providence Academy in Plymouth, will be among the 15 contestants vying for a $75,000 grand prize. The 15 contestants, ages 13 to 18, competed in an intense academic showdown in the hopes of claiming the grand prize and the coveted champion title. Nearly 10,000 students took an online test to get a spot on the show. Local Teen Chosen to Compete in Jeopardy! Teen Tourney

Nearly 10,000 students took an online test to snatch a spot, and 17-year-old Lila Anderson got one.

Lila Anderson, 17, a resident of Minnetonka who attends Providence Academy in Plymouth, will be among the 15 contestants vieing for a $75,000 grand prize.  Nearly 10,000 students took an online test to get a spot on the show. Joe Vertnik, 17, of Mound Westonka High School, will also compete in the tournament. They travel to Los Angeles next week. The episodes featuinrg the teens start airing Jan. 30, 2013.
