A 66-year-old man—who was helping lead the funeral procession for Rami Cooks, one of the victims of Thursday's Minneapolis workplace shooting—was seriously injured Sunday in St. Louis Park when he crashed his motorcycle into a truck. Kent Edward Stahel, of St. Paul, was turning left onto Minnetonka Boulevard from Kentucky Avenue when he slammed into a truck that was already in the intersection. Stahel had red and blue lights flashing, according to a police report. He was alert after the accident, according to a witness, but was bleeding profusely and taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Rami Cooks, of Minnetonka, died of a gunshot wound to the head and “was a victim of the workplace incident yesterday.”
A 62-year-old Minnetonka man has died as a result of the Minneapolis shooting on Thursday, Sept. 27 at Accent Signage Systems. Rami Cooks “was a victim of the workplace incident yesterday” who died at Hennepin County Medical Center after a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. Cooks died at the hospital at 11:18 p.m. after being shot at 4:35 p.m. Cooks was a native of Israel who worked at Accent Signage as a production manager, according to American Jewish World.
