Eighty percent of Minnetonka Middle School East students are involved in at least one after-school activity, including pottery, yearbook, student council and string ensemble. Sports teams include volleyball, cross-country running and skiing, tennis, wresting, golf and track.

Minnetonka Middle School East is also home to the Minnetonka Aquatics Center and the Minnetonka Swim Club.

Mills Park is complete with a gazebo and two park benches that face a scenic creek. The park even boasts a little history, which you can read about on marked placards. Grab a cup of coffee at the nearby Dunn Brothers and enjoy it while you sit in Mills Park and listen to the trickling creek.

Clear Springs Elementary School serves neighborhoods in Chanhassen and Minnetonka. Located on Highway 101 inMore Minnetonka, Clear Springs Elementary offers kids classes in reading, writing, grammar, spelling, handwriting, math, science, social studies, health, art, music, media and technology and physical education. Clear Springs Elementary students also have the option of Spanish Immersion beginning in kindergarten.

Two hot lunch choices are offered each day; meals are planned in accordance with requirements of the federal school lunch guidelines. For children in need of before- and/or after-school care, Explorer's Club is offered for grades K-5.  Hours are 6:45 a.m. until school starts and after school until 6 p.m.
