Hennepin County Home School Program

Located on County Road 62, just west of I-494, the Hennepin County Home School is a state-licensed residentialMore treatment and correctional center for boys and girls ages 12 - 20. The offenders are committed to the facility by the Hennepin County Court. The facility includes administrative offices, a school, gym and cafeteria. Four cottages house up to 80 residents on the site.  

On site, residents are offered a comprehensive range of medical and health care services as well as education and vocational training. According to the program's website, there is evidence that this kind of treatment, training and education will, "improve offenders' ability to live productive lives when they return to their families and communities."
