Pagel Activity Center & Ice Rink, located just behind Minnetonka High School, is home ice for the high school andMore community youth hockey teams (9th grade and younger). The center also offers year-round weight rooms and a walk-or-run track (around the rink) six days a week, ice time for purchase whatever your ice sport, and Summer Hockey Camp that includes strength-building and conditioning for all sports. Owned by the Minnetonka Youth Hockey Association, who built the center in 2001, its high school varsity games and youth hockey tournaments are mainstay community draws.

It's estimated that 260,000 people use the Minnetonka Ice Arena every year. Throughout the year, the city offersMore public skating hours, skating lessons, and adult hockey at the Minnetonka Ice Arena. It's home to the Lake Minnetonka Figure Skating Club, Hopkins and Minnetonka Youth Hockey Associations. Also, the high school hockey programs from both Minnetonka and Hopkins School Districts use the Minnetonka Ice Arena as their practice and game facility. Lessons are available for skaters of all ages and abilities. Want to try a workout on the ice? Try the Fit & Trim program every Wednesday at 9:30am.

Public Skating Schedule (September 7, 2010–April 28, 2011): Sun, 2:30pm - 4pm; Tue, 11:30am - 1pm; Wed, 11:30am - 1pm; Thu, 11:30pm - 1pm; Fri, 7:30pm - 9pm. 

Adult admission is $4, students/pre-k/senior admission is $3, skate rental is $2

Civic Center Park is home to Minnetonka City Hall, a community center,  a fire station, a police station and twoMore ice arenas. Many local evens take place here, including the Minnetonka Summer Festival, the Minnetonka Farmers' Market and the Minnetonka Fire Department and City Open House. There are two extensive climbing structures suitable for younger and older kids. Other amenities include a ball field, an indoor ice rink, a picnic area, an outdoor theater area and a canoe landing.
