Northern Tool & Equipment is located on the corner of Hwy 7 and Hwy 1o1.   Inside is a mecca of power tools, hard-to-find specialty parts and tools, and staff who know their craft.  Expert advice is freely distributed along with a recommended supplies you need to get the job done.  Northern Tool started as family-owned Minnesota business when Don Kotula started the business in 1980.  The Minnetonka location opened in 1992. Northern also does occasional demo days. From boat covers, go-karts, hoses, clamps, amps, wires and tires, you can walk in with a to-do list, or just browse for unique must-have stuff.
