Founded in 1884, Adath Jeshurun Congregation is the oldest affiliate of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism west of Chicago. Adath celebrates conservative Jewish tradition. The congregation welcomes members of all ages, abilities, occupations and income levels, traditional and non-traditional families, the Jewish gay/lesbian community, same-sex parents, single parents, singles, students and seniors. It offers a variety of adult, teen and children's programs ( including the Gen Shelanu Preschool ) as well as Torah and Talmud study groups and an Israeli book club.
