Yellow Ribbon and Family Fire Day: This Week in Minnetonka

Want a sneak preview of the trees that will be available through this year’s city of Minnetonka tree program? Attend the sneak preview Tuesday, January 14, from 5:30–7 p.m. in the Shady Oak Room at Minnetonka City Hall.

St. David's Center Open House is Wednesday, Jan. 15

St. David’s Center invites the community to learn more about its early childhood education program at an open house, Wednesday, Jan. 15. There are two sessions: morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m., and afternoon from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 

Parents and caregivers can tour the facility, talk with teachers and pick up information and enrollment packets for summer and fall 2014 programs. Free childcare is available during the open house. No RSVP is necessary. St. David’s Center offers flexible scheduling, with half-day and full day options for busy families. 

The Southwest Twin Cities Beyond the Yellow Ribbon coalition, which includes Minnetonka, Hopkins, Eden Prairie and Edina, will host a meeting Thursday, January 16, from 7–9 p.m. at Hopkins City Hall.
