St. David’s Center & Minnesota Vikings Announce Inaugural "Tee Up for Tomorrow" Golf Tournament

Minnetonka-based St. David's Center for Child & Family Development joins forces with the Minnesota Vikings to host the inaugural "Tee Up for Tomorrow" Golf Tournament at Hazeltine on July 15.

St. David’s Center for Child & Family Development will host its inaugural Tee Up for Tomorrow Golf Tournament, presented by John Randle and the Minnesota Vikings, at Hazeltine National Golf Club on Monday, July 15, 2013.

“We are overjoyed to partner with the Minnesota Vikings, because of their commitment to putting children first,” explained Julie Sjordal, Executive Director, St. David’s Center. “For more than 50 years, our organization has grown and changed to meet the needs of children and families in our community. As needs for high quality early education, early diagnosis and treatment, and in-home support escalate in our community, so does our need for strong charitable partnerships. The funds raised at this event will directly support these programs and have an impact on the lives of the children and families we serve for years to come.”

The Tee Up for Tomorrow Golf Tournament benefits the St. David’s Center Building Our Children’s Future Capital Campaign, a $12.25 million initiative enabling the organization to invest where the need is greatest and the return is highest: the early years. The event also combines a rare opportunity to secure a coveted tee time at Hazeltine — recognized around the world for providing an incomparable golfing experience — with the chance to make a tangible contribution toward the lives of children that will last a lifetime.
