UMD Bulldogs to Play at Minnetonka High School

The Bulldogs' home baseball opener will take place Wednesday.

UMD Bulldogs fans in Minnetonka will be able to catch a game a little closer to home this week.

“Inconsistent spring weather” has forced the University of Minnesota Duluth to move its home baseball opener to Minnetonka High School, the university announced Tuesday.

The Bulldogs will take on Concordia University-St. Paul in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) doubleheader. First pitch is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Weather has plagued Bulldogs baseball this season. After cancelling its NSIC-opening series against Augustana College, it’s had to relocate every league game through April 14.
