Two Tonka Players Chosen for All-Star Football Game

Charles Webb and Beau Bates will play for Team South on June 30.

The Minnesota Football Coaches Association announced last week that two Minnetonka High School athletes will play in the 2012 All-Star Football Game.

The All-Star Football Game showcases outstanding senior players from the 2011 high school football season. Webb and Bates will first join the other players for an All-Star training camp that takes place June 24 through June 30 at St. John’s University in Collegeville.

The 39th annual event takes place June 30 at TCF Bank Stadium. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. In 2011, Team South beat Team North 17-7.
