Back-to-back wins at Wayzata kept both the Minnetonka girls and boys lacrosse teams unbeaten to highlight the pre- and post-Easter Skippers sports schedule.

Boys Lacrosse: Skippers 11, Wayzata 5

An 11-5 defeat of host Wayzata last Thursday kept the Minnetonka boys lacrosse team undefeated at 4-0 this spring.

Chase Fisher netted three goals, with Jack Denton, Teddy O'Reilly and Stewart Utter scoring twice each.

The Skippers are slated to travel to Edina for a 7:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.

Girls Lacrosse: Skippers 13, Wayzata 6

The Minnetonka girls lacrosse team won 13-6 at Wayzata last Thursday to up its record to 3-0 on the year.

Hillary Duda leads the Skippers with 11 goals and 10 assists, with Holly Korn netting six goals over the three-game stretch.

Minnetonka is scheduled to travel to Edina for a 5:30 p.m. game on Tuesday.

Boys Golf: Skippers Duo Are Co-Medalists At Burl Oaks

Minnetonka boys golfers Jock Wilson and Jack Teal finished with co-medalist honors as both carded a one-over-par 73 to pace the Skippers to a second-place score of 312 at the Burl Oaks Invitational in Minnetrista.

Baseball: First Loss Of The Season

The Minnetonka baseball team lost its first game of the season on Monday as Lake Conference rival Wayzata hung a 5-0 loss on the visiting Skippers, who mustered up just one hit in the game.

Individual results were not available. Minnetonka hosts Hopkins on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Softball: Three-Game Losing Streak

A 5-1 loss at Wayzata on Monday was the third in a row for the Minnetonka softball team and dropped the squad to 2-5 on the season.

Track and Field: Skippers Second, Third At Shakopee Invitational

The Minnetonka track and field teams competed at the Shakopee Relays Invitational last Thursday, with the girls placing second with 321 points and the boys claiming third with 306 points. Individual results were not available.

Girls Golf: Skippers Seventh At Chaska Invitational

The Minnetonka girls golf team placed seventh at the Chaska Invitational with a team score of 378. Individual results were not available.
