The Skippers, who has made strides throughout the season, face a talented field Saturday. They finished third in the Apple Jack Invitational this past weekend in Lakeville, and their top three finishers all had career bests. The team finished sixth at the Irish Invitational in Rosemount and third in the Bauman/Rovin Cross-Country Invitational (Hopkins Invite).
RUNNERS TO WATCH
Kyle Anderson - Minnetonka
Anderson finished seventh in the Hopkins Invite and was 13th in Apple Jack Invitational last weekend. The senior had a career-best time at 16:20.2 in Lakeville.
Ricardo Celleri – Minnetonka
Celleri was 21st in the Hopkins Invite and was 14th in the recent Apple Jack Invitational, where the senior posted a career-best time at 16:30.8.
Scott Kuiidera – Minnetonka
Kuiidera finished 27th in the Hopkins Invite and was 19th in Apple Jack Invitational last weekend. The sophomore recorded a career-best time at 16:41 in Lakeville.
