PHOTOS: Minnetonka Ice Arena Presents 'Dancing on Ice'

Audiences were delighted by the 38th Annual Silver Skates Ice Revue.

The Minnetonka Ice Arena was transformed for a weekend into a wonderland of dancing on ice.

There were Happy Feet, Fabulous Feet, salsas, mambos and more—all on skates—as Minnetonka’s All Season Skating School and the Lake Minnetonka Figure Skating Club presented the 38th Annual Silver Skates Ice Revue, Dancing on Ice, May 3, 4, and 5 at the .

More than 260 skaters, from 3 years old to adult, glided, spinned and leaped their way through the two-hour performances.

The show highlighted virtually all genres of dancing spanning several generations of music, from jump blues and rock and roll to today’s pop hits and movie soundtracks. The skaters, who included a number of national competitors, came from throughout the west Metro, representing Minnetonka, Hopkins, Chaska, Excelsior, Victoria, Mound, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Eden Prairie, Deephaven, Minnestrista, Orono and Greenwood.
