Minnetonka Swimmers Win 6AA Section Championship

Minnetonka qualifies 14 athletes for the state meet, 20 individual entries and 3 relays.

Minnetonka High School's girls swim and dive team rocked it again.

Minnetonka won this past weekend's 6AA Section Championships at the Minnetonka Aquatics Center. This is Minnetonka's second consecutive 6AA Section Championship.

The Skippers finished first among the eight teams that competed Thursday through Saturday, earning a total 515 points to top Eden Prairie (476 points) and Edina (462 points).

Minnetonka qualifies 14 athletes for the state meet, 20 individual entries and 3 relays. Minnetonka qualifies at least one entry in every event at the state meet.

The Class AA State Diving competition is Nov. 18-20 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
