Minnetonka Swimmers Take 4th At True Team State
The Skippers finished behind Stillwater, Edina and Wayzata at the True Team meet
The Minnetonka girls swimming and diving team finished fourth overall at the Class AA True Team state meet on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
Minnetonka finished with 1,456 team points, good for fourth in the 12-team state meet. Stillwater won with 2,254 points, Edina took second with 2,167 points and Wayzata finished third at 2,064.
The Skippers held on to fourth place from start to finish. The Skippers took second in the 400 freestyle relay (Carolynn Cane, Liz Kane, Jenny Einhorn and Isabel Wyer), the 200 freestyle relay (Einhorn, Carolyn Kane, Amelia Schilling and Wyer), and Wyer took second in the 100 freestyle.
