Minnetonka Qualifies 18 Individuals for State in Swim and Dive

All three relays and 18 athletes will compete at the state meet.

Minnetonka displayed unmatched depth as they qualified 18 individual athletes and all three relays for the state meet.

After Thursday’s swimming preliminaries, the Skippers had achieved 22 state qualifying times, but in Minnesota swimmers must swim those times at the finals to qualify for the state meet—or place first or second in each event.

Given the strength of the Lake Conference, placing in the top two means swimming much faster than the state cut. Additionally, the top four divers in sections qualify for the state meet.
