Skipper Swimmers Face Section's Top Competition
The Skippers face a loaded field in the Section 6AA swimming and diving championships this week.

ON THE LINE
The Skippers face a loaded field in the Section 6AA championships this week. Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Minneapolis South, Minneapolis Southwest and Shakopee are also in this section. Minnetonka finished second in the True Team Sections against these same squads, losing to Edina 1376-1341. Edina was second in the True State championships and Minnetonka was fourth. Edina is ranked No. 1 by the Coaches Association and Minnetonka was second. The top two individuals and top relay teams in each event advance to state and any swimmer meeting the state qualifying time moves on as well.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Isabel Wyer - Minnetonka
Wyer is ranked first in the metro area in the 200 freestyle, but was disqualified at the True State Meet. The sophomore was second in the 100 freestyle and part of the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Amelia Schilling – Minnetonka
The junior finished third in the 200 freestyle and fifth in the 500 freesyle at the True State Meet. She was a member of the first place 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams.
Jenine Einhorn – Minnetonka
The senior was a also member of the first place 200 and 400 freestyle relay teams along with junior Carolyn Kane.
