Minnetonka Girls’ Tennis Players Prepare for Upcoming Matches
The first matches take place Aug. 22.
The thrum of tennis balls bouncing off rackets sounded on Minnetonka High School’s courts Wednesday as the girls’ preseason practice continued.
The varsity season begins at noon Tuesday with an invitation at Mankato-West, followed by a doubles scrimmage at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Edina. The first match takes place at 4 p.m. Aug. 22 at The Blake School’s Hopkins campus.
Junior varsity players will also take part in the Mankato-West invitational. Their first match is at 4 p.m. Aug. 22 at home against Blake.
