Minnetonka Competes in Section Dance Team Meet

Wayzata, Eden Prairie win titles in the Section 2AAA dance team tournament Saturday.

Minnetonka danced well but finished out of the money Saturday in the Section 2AAA dance team tournament Saturday at Wayzata High School.

The top three finishers in each 13-team division qualified for the state meet, on Feb. 17 and 18 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Wayzata won the jazz division, followed by Maple Grove and Eden Prairie.

Eden Prairie finished first in the high kick competition, followed by Wayzata and Hopkins.
