Despite playing under the threat of thunderstorms on both Tuesday and Wednesday, Minnetonka sports teams both managed to get in nearly the entirety of their mid-week schedules.
Baseball: Edina 3, Skippers 2
A late rally fell short for the Minnetonka baseball team in a 3-2 loss against visiting Lake rival Edina on Wednesday.

Andrew Weber leads the Skippers with a .370 batting average and is tied with Eric Fasnacht for the team high in runs batted in with 10; Alex Twenge has a 2.40 earned run average over 35 innigns pitched with five wins and 32 strikeouts.
The Skippers dropped to 13-2 overall and 6-2 in the Lake with the Wednesday loss.
