Lexi Wagner Selected for Olympic Training Center

Lexi Wagner, a 12 year old Tonka Bay resident, was recently named to the 12 & under US National Team in the sport of synchronized swimming.

She is the youngest synchronized swimmer from Minnesota to be named to the National Team and the only athlete from the US Synchro North Zone (15 state area) to qualify for the 2013 National Team. Wagner will be training at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado this summer with her 15 National team mates.

“Our club is extremely proud of our trail blazing athlete Lexi Wagner," said Joanne Kutzler, Minnesota Synchronettes head coach. "It is a great accomplishment and an honor to be named to the National Team. There are great hopes for these young athletes to return the US to Olympic medal standings in the future."
