Stress plays a role in preventing and managing many diseases - especially diabetes. Although there is no cure for stress, we can learn to manage it. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

(MBSR) is an eight-week program designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, that teaches techniques for consciously and methodically dealing with stress, pain, illness and the demanding challenges of everyday life.
